1983- Passed N.C.I.D.Q. test becoming a professional member of A.S.I.D. (American Society of Interior Designers)

1990 & 1991- Winner in the Tennessee State Design Competition in the category: Residential –Singular Space

1990- Winner in the Tennessee State Design Competition category: Model Home/Apartment category

1994: Registered as an Interior Designer in the state of Tennessee (the year legislation was passed in the state)

2004- Silver winner in Tennessee State Design Competition category: Homes over 3500 Square Feet

2001-2004- Chairman of Fernvale Community Church

2004- Finalist for Nashville Association of Women’s Business Owners (NAWBO) Business Woman of the Year Award

Served on the Tennessee Chapter A.S.I.D. Board and was past chairman of the A.S.I.D. Nashville Association
